Your Service Officer:
Recommends NOT filing your VA claim on the Internet!
We want all Veterans to have VA Medical Coverage, even if you are classified as 'Level 8'
and have a required co-pay.
All it requires is to complete a VA Form 1010-EZ. Ask us for one, take one from the
spindle in the entry way or
download it from the VA website (VA Forms).
Field Service Officers: Post 7 has added five certified service officers to serve the
Whatcom County Community of
Veterans. Welcome aboard: Robert Payler, Rich Wopat, Bill Cote, Chris Moran (SAL) and
Margo Williams (Legion Riders).
Every Thursday from 1-5 pm, there is a PTSD/TBI Support Group @ the Post.
It's informal with no time limit on staying around (have a cup of coffee or soda on us).
A licensed mental health counselor, Ian O'Callaghan, is available for consultation.
Service Officers are also available, so bring your VA we want more info letters.
Since most of the attendees are not quite right, normalcy is questioned.
